6 MG's

Well things are looking good. I've got a reply back from the guy with the MG's. He's up in Lancaster, which is a good 6-8 hour drive and he's got 6 of them.
Excellent!
So now I just wait for the photographs to be e-mailed over of each car so I can decide if they are actually any good. Then if all is smooth, find a car trailer and make the drive to Lancaster.

In the mean time I've been looking at electric motors and am going to go two ways, either a forklift motor or a used motor from a previous electric build via one of the EV forums.
More research and information to go.

The Internet works

In this great big world wide web of interconnected commerce we live in it's good to see that the Internet does in fact work.
I'd posted some ad's on Kijiji.ca and Craigslist looking for an MGB-GT for under $1500 and today I received a reply from a guy who apparently has a few MG's available.
I've shot him over some questions about them and am hoping to hear back with some pictures and fingers crossed, he is close enough for me to drive by and check them out.
If he's got a few, maybe, just maybe I can convince him to let me take the best parts from each to make one decent car. But we'll see what the conditions are like on these cars.
All I can do now is wait and see what happens. If I am lucky enough I'll be able to get the car I want for the price I want.
